These beautiful rocking horses are not just for children!  They happily and safely carry kids of all ages, from 3 months to 99 years!!  Police and Sheriff, Fire Chief, blind or those in wheelchairs... all are welcome and have ridden with us!  Even the Queen, Her Majesty herself is a big fan of the Rocking Horses!!

Guinness Book of World Record's current record holder, "Vlad" Largest Hand-carved, Wooden Rocking Horse!!  Please meet our unique, one of a kind Rocking Horses, offered for your riding pleasure!

In 1999, Les Hartness (The Rocking Horse Guy) began work on a unusual project that many were skeptical he could accomplish - building a ridable, life-size hand-carved wooden rocking horse made of plywood.

Les, a civil engineer by trade, was not a wood-worker, yet he called on his engineering skills and the assistance of a couple of friends who were wood-workers to assist in the finishing touches, and spent the next year and over 1,000 hours creating his first "horse" ; "Vlad" the Impaler, a unicorn weighing in at 1,200 pounds and 7 feet 8 inches tall.

Next came "Freya" Goddess of Mischief, weighing in at 800 pounds, and standing 7 tall.

Les, Cindy and John "Wallup the Push Monkey" bring the rocking horses to Renaissance Faires, public events, parades and private parties/events, bringing smiles and joy to thousands of 'riders.'

At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to present  up-to-date information, schedules, and photo albums as soon as possible.  Please continue to check back for new photos and updates!
